Our Open House

Our open house was a success! We were able to host (even in our tiny little home) a ton of good friends and family! We loved seeing people from Thomas' mission, from work, old apartment building, etc. See below for the full post! Thomas and I are spent time in Aurora, CO with family. We were able to visit the Red Rocks and go to the Hammond's Candy Factory! It was so much fun! We love spending time with family, relaxing, and eating delicious food! We chowed  down on some delicious chili Thomas' dad made. Yum! His nephews and niece are the cutest things on earth! They are polite, sweet, and very thoughtful. They are excited to give hugs goodnight and love high fives! Trace even asked politely if he could give me a high five while I was napping. Such a gentleman. FUNNY STORY! "An Attitude of Gratitude"

Recently I have been dwelling on how blessed we are! Honestly, I could not have imagined the life of happiness and health that we have. Just read this!:  Thomas S. Monson: An Attitude of Gratitude Thomas and I are so blessed to have a warm house, food to eat, a loving ward family, a wonderful education and progressing jobs and much, much more! As silly as it sounds, today as I was putting groceries away, I was annoyed with how much food was in the freezer! I was having trouble fitting everything into it... So silly. And then it hit me: BE THANKFUL, DUMMY! Oops... Sometimes the logical side of me will step in a humble me. I promise I'm not crazy! It's important for us to look around us and recognize just how blessed we are. Through a few heartbreaking tragedies of these last few weeks, I have been humbled. My grandmother is slowly passing away and I am so thankful my sister is there to help! She is my hero. My grandparents (both in their nineties!) require assistance in ...
