New Beginnings

Forgive me for being so terrible at posting!

As always, life has been very busy for this Graham family! We are running around crazy with going to school and work while still trying to see each other.

Life has slowed down a bit, thank goodness! After over two years of being a Trainer at my software company CRS, I said farewell to my Little Caesars Pizza days. It was bittersweet but very much needed. I had so much fun traveling to stores and training clients on how to run a successful business. When I started at CRS, I was one of 8 employees. We have now grown to 40...and boy how things have changed!

With these changes, the new road to my future has opened up! I have always loved the medical field and am currently a certified CNA, Phlebotomist, with CPR and First Aid training. I have plans to go back to school in August to become a Dental Assistant through the same college I got my CNA numbers.

Thomas is busy with school and work. We were happy to discover that he doesn't have as much school left as we thought! He will be teaching before we know it! He is so smart and diligent. I love watching him gobble up his research and studies. He absolutely loves teaching, English, his missionaries, and of course, me!

In early May, we embarked on our HONEYMOON! We decided to go this summer because it would be much easier to take time off during the summertime. We were so excited! We went to Half Moon Cay, Nassau, and Freeport in the Bahamas! Tom and Debbie, Thomas' parents, and my parents joined us! I cannot even express how happy I was that they are able to come as well. Thomas had never been on a cruise, so I was very excited to show him how amazing it is!

We would highly recommend going on a cruise!

While I was between jobs, I actually had time to cook real food and clean! We are eating more made-from-scratch foods rather than the easy go-to boxed meals. Also, I refuse to let Thomas clean. These days he is so busy with school and work that he hardly has time to sleep. I am home often, so I need something to do! Also, it's amazing how quickly we can turn our house upside down! With laundry needing to be folded to last night's dishes, we know how to tear it up our little house!

Just this last week, I was hired on as a Donor Processor for a plasma center! I am so excited to finally jump into the medical field. As a DP, I screen patients and make sure they are healthy enough to donate their plasma. I love how rewarding it is to talk to so many patients each day! I poke their finger and test their iron and protein levels, as well as their vitals. The best part about Griofols is what the donations do! It is processed into medications for incurable sicknesses that people rely on to live! If you'd like to know more, you can go to http://www.grifolsplasma.com/.

Thomas has been fortunate enough to continue working with the missionaries at the MTC. He loves it so much! He comes home so happy and excited to teach the Lord's Army in Lithuania. With the influx of missionaries, he went from 1 missionary on average to 6 or 9! So cool. He was recently transferred away from the main MTC to the satellite MTC in Provo. Sometimes when we're buying milk, we run into old friends who are on their mission! So funny.

Other than school and work, Thomas and I are continuing to decorate our little house. Tom, my father in law, and Chris and Rachael, Thomas' brother and sister in law, came into town to visit a few weeks ago. We were able to add a ceiling fan (we don't have air conditioner! Yikes), a new shelf, and a few little things here and there. It was fun to spend time with them and tour Salt Lake City for a day.

Life is so good for the Grahams. We hope life is good for y'all too!

Love,
Jenny and Thomas
