A Little Lincoln Update!

Lincoln is 18 months and so amazing. He is in the 25th percentile for weight and 75% for height! Definitely Thomas's child! He has 12 teeth and 4 more canines on the way.

Escapee at the Doctor!

I was going to write a list of all of his words, but they're just the typical (boring) mama, dada, dog, cat, etc. But I will list some of my favorites:

-Freckle
-Nipple
-Boobies ;)
-Fush (fish)

Just s typical morning of coloring on ourselves with marker, chewing up breakfast and spitting it out, and being a ham!

He also says "Where did it go?", "There it is!" and "Where did Dad go?". The first time he did that I just about keeled over. My baby is a boy!

He also says "Bye dyes!" and waves bye! (Bye, guys!)
I'm still not sure where he learned "guys" but it kills me! He is so funny.

We spend our days outside, on walks, kicking a ball, coloring, reading books, going to the library, and playing with his best friend Mackenzie. Lately we've become crazy busy with play dates with friends, the circus, the park, and our everyday errands. I've been trying to wear him out during the day so he sleeps better at night (still not sleeping through the night. Whomp.) He's baller at nap time and even going to bed, it's just the sneaking into bed with us that is killing me. Homeboy just wants to nurse all night. I blame teething for most of it, but some of it is the sweet snuggle-bug in him!

Nature walk!

I keep saying this, but this is by far my favorite age...so far! It just keeps getting better and better with this kid. He has new words every day and he is such a goof ball. He's a daredevil and so fearless that it scares me daily! He takes pain like a champ and continues pulling Evel Knievel stunts like it's nothing. Knock on wood, but we haven't had to visit the ER...yet.

This kid would eat olives for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I let him.
Clearly it was worth unlatching, opening, and climbing up the dishwasher to get to the rest!

This was all in one day. T R O U B L E!

The weather is finally cooling off enough to enjoy being outside for longer than a few minutes. But cooler weather means snow is on its way! I'm not a snow person, but I'm hoping that we can get enough good snow suits and boots for Link so we can continue to enjoy the outdoors! Otherwise, the indoor playground at Chick Fil A will just have to be our backup plan!

The other day, Lincoln walked into his room and yelled "Woody!". I was so excited because he said in such a clear way and not jibber jabber. He was given a small Woody doll (from Toy Story) and hasn't let go of it since. He even takes it to bed with him. This thing looks like it came from a McDonald's happy meal, but he doesn't even care. He's turning into such a little boy and it makes me so happy. I love being his mama!

He has a recent obsession with all things small that will fit in his hand. So far he's taken fish, bouncy balls, and a metal ramekin. A ramekin. Hahaha. Oftentimes he has them all day long and decides to take them to bed as well. So cute.

Sometimes I even find a ramekin and a surprise fish in my shoes!

Breastfeeding a toddler be like..."Got my Lincoln Logs, Ma!"

8 months and 18 months!

Ready for church!

We love this little dude so much and we can't wait to see more of his crazy personality grow!
